Silent All These Years

每一首傷感的情歌縂有一個哀傷的愛情藏在背後，Tori Amos在寫《Silent All These Years》之前，一個男子，一杯紅酒，一束陽光，像馬尾辮的末梢刺激了她的靈感，歌詞傾瀉到純淨的旋律裏，製作人聽到大叫：這首歌是屬於你的，只有你該唱。

Tori Amos最後再也沒有見到那個男子，而紅酒的滋味猶如陳釀越來越有勁，無數的味蕾勇敢而忠實地保存著，時不時在夜深人靜之際來一個突然襲擊。當然最後的歌詞來了一個變奏：

她還在那個地方等著，他拉著她的手，只是靜默多年之後，聽到自己的聲音，一切沒變，只有彼此變了，還會懷念麽？Amos的銘心刻骨，是時間的長久，而儅空間的遠近也成了一個單相思的藉口，結局是否還是一如照舊，平平常常，冰冰冷冷的分手呢？
連岳說：相愛的兩個人不能離得太遠，不能太久不見。儅雙方隔著兩個大洲，還能牽著另一個手，溫存一段麽？
去年10月的狂歡之後，聼到一對碧人難堪地成了兩個人，其中一個跟了第三個，不再回頭。今年還遇到兩對，都在掙扎，拖延，消耗著時光，把可有可無的賭注壓向了不可知的未來。

在這些年裏，他們做著命運號的大副，等著船長的口令，悄悄地自以爲是地駕駛著，期盼能在某天看到屬於自己新大陸上的那個她。
某月某日沉船之後，他還有一次機會，那天還是會有颱風，他從容不迫，靜靜地等著，挑戰以求鑽過完美的風眼。
